About OAK Youth Theatre
Professional musical theatre training and performance opportunities in Centurion, Pretoria.
Our Story
“Where passion meets professionalism, and young performers become confident artists.”
At OAK Youth Theatre, we believe in the transformative power of storytelling and the boundless potential of young performers.
Based in Centurion, South Africa, we provide professional musical theatre training and performance opportunities for young artists aged 7–25. Our focus is on bridging the gap between youth development and the professional performing arts industry.
Through structured training, rehearsals and full-scale productions, our performers gain real insight into professional theatre standards. They develop skills in acting, singing and dance, while building confidence, discipline and a strong sense of teamwork.
Guided by experienced mentors with over 30 years of combined local and international experience, we create an environment that is both supportive and professional — where every performer is encouraged to grow, take ownership and find their voice.
We are more than a training space — we are a creative community where young performers are challenged, supported and inspired to reach their full potential.
Our Approach
We provide industry-relevant musical theatre training through workshops, rehearsals and full-scale productions — giving young performers real experience of professional theatre standards.
The Heart of OAK
We are a creative family built on mentorship, collaboration and excellence — where every performer is supported, challenged and encouraged to grow with confidence.
The Big Picture
We equip young performers with the skills, discipline and confidence needed to pursue further training or step into the performing arts industry — and to thrive beyond the stage.
